Dear Families,

We are in desperate need of volunteers for both the A and B champs happening this week.

B champs is today! If no one else volunteers to help then we will have no age group helpers or clerk course. Parents will be expected to get their kids to their own events on time. As a reminder this is championships, they will not be allowing second chances in different heats or events when a child has missed a race. Even after eliminating age group helpers, clerk of course, and shifting those parents to timers, we will still be short. We are required by the PPSL to bring timers, with no exceptions. If we do not have enough timers that will force us to pull coaches from the deck to time this meet. We, of course, want our coaches to be coaching.

A champs will be occurring over Tuesday and Wednesday. The expectation is that if you have a child there, you are working. Very few families have met the volunteer requirements for the year and we need your help now!

In the event we do not have the volunteers needed for tomorrow we will be forced to follow the plan outlined above.

It has been brought to my attention that the SwimTopia app is not allowing people to sign up for jobs from their phones. I am hopeful this is the reason people have not volunteered yet. Please correct this by going on to a desktop or laptop and sign up for a volunteer position.
